Week 2
Sept 21-27
Day 8 | Monday
Increase My Faith
Mark 11:22-24 AMPC - And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].
Devotion
At the heart of our faith is expectation: the confident belief that God will perform His Word and fulfill every promise that He has given. The enemy fights hardest against faith and hope because they fuel vision and unlock possibilities. Faith comes by hearing God's Word. The Word gives us hope. God’s hope fuels expectation.
Expectation is not passive wishing. It is the bold act of speaking life, contending for breakthrough, and refusing to let atmospheres, old habits, or circumstances shape our destiny. When we think about God’s Word day and night and do it, our faith increases. Faith requires the actions of speaking and doing. We must choose to believe what God has already spoken about us in His Word and resist any thought or lie that says otherwise.
Faith has substance. It’s invisible initially, but as we walk in what God says, He sees our faith and answers our prayers.
Can God see your faith? Increase it by saying and doing what God says, and see mountains move.
Prayer
Lord, ignite hope within me and increase my expectations. In this season of “new,” give me NEW HOPES and NEW DREAMS, and let my faith and words agree with Your promises. Give me the courage to shift my perspective and live in the atmosphere of heaven so that I contend for breakthrough. Jeremiah 29:11 says You know the plans You have for me—plans of good and not evil. I believe that. Empower me to see beyond limitations, to speak life, and to expect You to do great exploits through me according to Daniel 11:32. May my life reflect my faith and confidence in You and Your plans for my future. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Day 9 | Tuesday
Holiness
1 Samuel 2:2 AMPC - There is none holy like the Lord, there is none besides You; there is no Rock like our God.
Matthew 5:8 NKJV - Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God.
Devotion
God has called His people to a higher place in Him. It is not that we are better than anyone else; it is that He is. God has chosen us to re-present Him in the earth. Since He is holy, we, too, have been empowered by His Spirit and His Word to be holy as He is holy.
As we connect with God in this time of consecration and experience His “new thing” (which really isn’t new; it’s just new to us), we sense His presence drawing near to us. We experience His lovingkindness in a new way or sense His grace toward us. We may become aware of areas in our lives that need His healing most.
Area by area, we see rays of His light shining through the cracks of dark places that have gone undetected in our souls. If you feel uncomfortable, DON’T RETREAT!! He is doing a work within us. The more we open ourselves to God, the more “heart checks” we will experience.
He moves the blessings of heaven into our daily lives as we learn to allow Him to unlock the doors within us that have blocked His flow. The Holy Spirit desires to water all of our dry places and make us more like God. Hallelujah!
Prayer
Father, You are holy. There is no sin or darkness in You. I open my heart to YOU. I trust You, Lord. Help me to connect more closely with You and deepen my relationship with You. I not only want to experience this “new thing,” but I also want to live in the continual newness of life in You.
Refresh me, Lord! Do a good work inside of my soul. Shine Your light into any hidden areas of my life and make me holy as You are holy. I choose to allow the light of Your presence to permeate my being and make me more like You.
I know it’s not just for me, but also for the lives of those whom You want to come to You. So glorify Yourself with my life. I want to see You!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Day 10 | Wednesday
Praying for Families
2 Peter 3:9 NKJV - The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Acts 16:31 NKJV - So they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household
Devotion
Salvation is an extraordinary gift that God has given to the world, but many have not received His precious gift. God has called us to share the good news of His salvation with our neighbors, our friends, and our community. It can be uncomfortable, but as we tell others what good things God has done for us, we share Him in a way that makes Him attractive.
Today, we move from just praying for ourselves to praying not only for our families and our households to be saved, but also for all the families within a 5-mile radius of NDO and NDP. God is not willing for families to die without Him. Let’s be God’s hands and feet in the earth and pray for the salvation, healing, and restoration of families.
Prayer
Father, we pray for our family. Heal, restore, and unify our family again. Save our unsaved loved ones, Father. We know it’s Your will to bring them to Yourself. Move the stubborn, hard hearts and cause our family’s hearts to be open and receptive to Your voice. You said in Revelation that You are standing and knocking on the doors of the hearts of those who have not yet accepted You. Help our family to open their hearts to You.
Father, we pray for every household and every family within a 5-mile radius of New Destiny Oakland and New Destiny Pittsburg. We invite You into every household. Save the families, Lord. Draw their hearts to You. Draw them to New Destiny Churches. Open their ears so that they hear Your voice. Remove the blinders that Satan has put on families’ minds so that they may see the light of the gospel.
Give us opportunities to talk to our neighbors about Christ. Put Your words in our hearts and mouths. Father, YOU and YOU alone bring the increase of NEW SOULS into the Kingdom of God. All the angels rejoice over one lost soul. We thank You for what You are doing in families.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Day 11 | Thursday
Pray for a “DIFFERENT SPIRIT”
Numbers 13:34 AMP – But My servant Caleb, because he has a DIFFERENT SPIRIT and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land into which he entered, and his descendants shall take possession of it.
Psalm 143:10 – Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Devotion
The Word of God says that Caleb had a “DIFFERENT SPIRIT.” This different spirit is something much deeper than Caleb simply having a positive attitude. It speaks of a different inward disposition toward God. It speaks of Caleb totally trusting God and His unfailing love toward him.
Caleb saw the same giants that the other spies saw; however, he saw through the lens of God. A “different spirit” meant that Caleb did not allow what he saw (in the natural) to override what he knew God had promised.
Caleb teaches us that a different spirit isn’t necessarily about being different for the sake of being different. It is about being so deeply aligned with God that our response to circumstances is governed by God’s Word rather than by fear, popular opinion, opposition, delay, or appearances.
Everyone saw the giants, but Caleb saw God’s promise. Everyone saw the obstacles, but Caleb saw the opportunity to possess what God had promised.
Declare, “My circumstances may be intimidating, but God’s Word is greater than what I see. I am well able to possess the land.”
Let us go up at once and possess it, for WE are well able to overcome it.
Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for a DIFFERENT SPIRIT—a spirit that wholeheartedly pleases You. We are convinced that Your promises are sure. Your Word is established. We pray for a deep, inward, positive disposition toward You and what You have spoken in Your Word.
You have called us to be a holy people, a peculiar people, a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, that we would shew forth Your praises because You have called us out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Change our disposition to be a position postured for Kingdom Advancement.
Father, cause Your Word in us to be GREATER than any giant! We desire to have a DIFFERENT SPIRIT; we desire to BE DIFFERENT. We believe and declare by the power of Your Word, “WE ARE WELL ABLE TO POSSESS THE LAND.”
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Day 12 | Friday
Pray for an “ATTITUDE OF BOLD FAITH AND OBEDIENCE”
Numbers 14:24 AMP - But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has FOLLOWED ME FULLY, I will bring into the land into which he entered, and his descendants shall take possession of it
Ezekiel 36:27 - And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Devotion
Caleb had an attitude of BOLD FAITH. His OBEDIENCE set him apart from the others. Caleb’s name in Hebrew means D.O.G., “Devoted of God!”
Caleb’s faith is characterized by wholehearted obedience, courage, and confidence in God’s promise when everyone else was responding in fear. Caleb wasn’t partially persuaded. He didn’t agree with God only when the majority agreed with him. When everyone else turned against God’s promise, Caleb remained aligned with God.
Caleb’s faith moved him toward the assignment. Caleb’s faith and obedience said, “I will agree with God even when agreement with God makes me disagree with the crowd.”
Prayer
Father, You have called us to live by the Spirit and not by the flesh. Today, we command our day to come into divine order. In the name of Jesus, we forbid chaos, strife, and every evil influence from coming near our day. We welcome the peace of God and the joy of the Lord to govern every moment.
Father, we ask for wisdom in every situation we face today. Let our words be seasoned with salt, that we may know how to answer each person with grace and truth. We send angels ahead of us to minister and to fight on our behalf, according to Your Word.
Let the Kingdom of God come into our day today. Let the will of God be done in our lives on earth as it is in heaven. We declare that the of God surrounds us like a shield. We live free from lack and untouched by fear. We stand protected from disease, germs, and viruses—we declare that we are the healed of the Lord.
We are blessed of the Lord, and today we sow His peace into our lives and into the lives of others. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Day 13 | Saturday
Devotion
Numbers 14:24 AMP - But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land into which he entered, and HIS DESCENDANTS SHALL TAKE POSSESSION OF IT.
Deuteronomy 7:9 AMPC- Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations.
Divine Connecting with the Father to Live with Him as Your FIRST Love Now and to the End of Time
Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, we declare that Your covenant blessings are not ending with us, but they flow through us and extend to our children, our children’s children, and generations yet to come. We declare a holy, multigenerational spiraling of Your favor, wisdom, righteousness, provision, influence, and Kingdom purpose within our families.
We declare that every generation builds upon what the previous generation established in You, going higher, deeper, and further in covenant with You. Father, establish Your Word in our mouths and in the mouths of our children and grandchildren. Let Your Spirit rest upon our families, and let Your presence become our inheritance. Cause righteousness, obedience, wisdom, and the fear of (respect for) You, Lord, to become our family legacy.
Where there have been generational cycles that oppose Your purpose, we declare that they end today, RIGHT NOW! We declare that Your foundation is established in our families; cause the power of Your Word to multiply exponentially. May our descendants be mighty upon the earth, walking in Your ways and carrying Kingdom influence into their generation.
We declare that what YOU begin in one generation will not terminate in another. Let blessing become multiplication, multiplication become inheritance, and inheritance become legacy. We declare that our families become conduits through which Your goodness continues to flow from generation to generation until what YOU have deposited in us produces fruit far beyond our lifetime.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Day 14 | Sunday
Divine Pray that the church “TRUST GOD THROUGH THE PROCESS!”
Exodus 3:8-10 NIV - So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them UP OUT OF that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”
Isaiah 43:18-19 AMPC
Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert
Proverbs 3:5-6 AMP - Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
Devotion
God said, “I couldn’t let them (the Israelites) go the quickest way to the Promised Land because of the processing.” There was obedience to be learned in the process. We must LEARN TO TRUST GOD!
Remember, the cry of the Israelites went up to the ears of heaven, and God came down to bring them UP, OUT OF Egypt! Our job is to just TRUST GOD and GO THROUGH the process.
“Your promise will never fit your capacity.”
Don’t stop trusting the Word of God because of what you see. Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He will bring you UP, OUT OF your Egypt!
Prayer
Father, teach us to trust You even when we cannot understand the process. Help us resist the temptation to lean on what we see, feel, or calculate. We acknowledge You in every step, knowing that You are directing our path even when the way is unclear.
Lord, keep our minds steadfast while You work. When the process is longer than expected, keep us in perfect peace. We choose to lean on You, hope confidently in You, and trust that You are our everlasting Rock.
Lord, help us trust the whole process, not merely the parts we understand. We believe You are fitting every circumstance, delay, transition, relationship, and opportunity into Your greater purpose. Nothing is wasted in Your hands.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we choose to TRUST YOU THROUGH THE PROCESS. We declare that we will not allow what we see in the present to make us doubt what You have spoken concerning our future. We surrender our need to understand every detail, control every outcome, or know exactly how YOU will accomplish Your purpose.
Teach us to trust Your timing, trust Your wisdom, trust Your direction, and trust Your methods. When You say wait, give us patience. When You say move, give us courage. When You close a door, give us confidence that You know what lies beyond it. When the process becomes uncomfortable, remind us that transformation often occurs before manifestation.
We declare that the process is not punishment; it is preparation. The waiting is not wasted time. The pruning produces greater fruit. The stretching is increasing our capacity.
Lord, keep our hearts anchored in You. We declare that we will not abandon our faith because the process is taking longer than expected. We declare that we will not interpret delay as denial. We refuse to let temporary circumstances dictate our confidence in our eternal God.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen..
