Week 2

Sept 29- Oct 5

This week we focus on what living a life by faith empowers us to do. Living by faith is about believing God’s Word and knowing that His plans for each of our lives are good. As we follow God, we are empowered to do great exploits. We are the righteous and we live by faith.

Day 8 | Monday

Soaking in God's Presence to Live by Faith

Psalm 95:6 (NRSV) - O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!

Something remarkable happens when you bring your mind, body, soul, and spirit to a halt - just for God. There is something about going into seclusion. Withdrawing to pray and to be still is a form of beckoning and even provokes the glory of God to show up. Webster’s dictionary defines soaking as being saturated as if by immersion. Whether you kneel, lay or stand in the presence of God in waiting, He is sure to overtake you. To get something different, you must sow something different. Attend Church more. Spend time with God at Corporate Prayer. Worship God more. Read the Bible more. In the stillness of His presence, God is eager to encounter you. Let your mind settle as you cry out, “Lord, I give my whole self to you!” Refuse the temptation to be halfhearted in this fast. Present your all to Him as an offering. Expect nothing but to be with Him. Your faith in God increases as your intimacy with God increases. Expect God to show up!

Prayer

Lord, may I come to know the value of basking and quieting myself in Your presence. Show me You, Lord. I long to be totally immersed in You and overwhelmed by Your glory. May Your presence shift how I praise and worship You. Give me Your perspective. I want to know You better. Let Your kingdom come, and Your will be done in me today. I yield unto You, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Day 9 | Tuesday

When we Unite, Our Prayers Can Multiply & Silence the Enemy

Leviticus 26:8 - Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.

When hearts gather and unite, the force of the prayer is multiplied exponentially in the Spirit. No matter how many are assembled, these prayers ascend as multiples of hundreds and thousands for each person present. When we gather to pray in faith, there is a corporate anointing that harnesses the prayer of agreement to bind, loose, tear down, pluck up, and sound the trumpet for spiritual advancement. The foundations of the earth are shaken by corporate prayer; shaking whatever can be shaken. All flesh and diabolical schemes are overridden. The threats and whispers of the adversary are silenced and annihilated as we pray. Our worship is a powerful weapon. Let us bow down, pray and worship our God.

Prayer

Father, by the blood of Jesus and the power of His Name, we spoil every attack of the enemy off New Destiny and our families. We cancel and forcefully oppose any satanic operations and strategies which are designed to hinder and prevent Your plans and purposes for our lives from manifesting. Father, You said whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven; whatever we loose on earth is loose in heaven. Therefore, through the name of Jesus and the power of His blood, we bind and break all witchcraft, curses, and powers of darkness working against us, our family, and our church. We cancel every attack of oppression, distraction, hindrance, and deception. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. We have no lack in our church, no lack in our family, our body or in our finances, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Day 10 | Wednesday

Living by Faith gives you Power

Luke 10:19 NKJV - Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

We live in a time when there are horrible things happening on the earth, but we are not powerless to change those things for the better. While we may not have the physical authority to access the halls of government, we have authority to influence decisions made in the council of the chambers of the Creator of the universe. We have influence. We are change agents. We have authority in the heavenlies. In fact, we are the keys to making a difference for thousands, if not millions. We do it through the power of prayer.

Prayer

Father, I declare that I am an agent of change in the earth. I use my influence to bring Your kingdom to earth and make a difference in the world around me. I will walk boldly in my purpose today and every day knowing that You have given me authority over the enemy. Guide my prayers today as I lift up my community before You. Let Your kingdom come, and Your will be done in my neighborhood. Protect our children from the hands of the enemy. We cover our neighborhoods and our schools in the blood of Jesus. We loose the angels of God around us to guard and rescue us according to Psalm 91, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Day 11 | Thursday

Living a life of Faith empowers us to intentionally make ROLL CALL every day, declaring the Word of God knowing that He will respond.

Romans 1:17 (EVS)- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, the righteous shall live by faith.

We must intentionally and deliberately make roll-call (establishing we are present) every day. Every day we have to purposefully present ourselves to God by giving Him our best, our worst, our good, our bad, EVERYTHING! No matter what’s going on in the physical realm, we must SAY what God says. We must declare the voice of God’s Word in faith DAILY! It is a requirement for living! The just SHALL LIVE BY FAITH!

Prayer

Father, by faith, we declare Your word. I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ that lives in me, and the life I now live in the flesh, I live BY FAITH in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave His life for me. We declare that we are dead to sin. We are ALIVE IN CHRIST! We make a conscious decision to shift from the old into the new. We bind every spirit assigned to pull us back into the past so that we can enter into our future. We declare ALL things in our lives come into order so that we completely brace our lives in Christ, believing Father’s Word in faith. Christ in us, and we in Him! We are aligned with You Father! We stand together and apply pressure on your anointing to produce results in our lives as we LIVE BY FAITH, speaking Your Word, giving ourselves to you. We know that when we speak your Word, you will respond! We are INTENTIONALLY here for roll-call, Father. We walk in faith, declaring only what you have said, in Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

Day 12 | Friday

Living a life of Faith empowers us with DIVINE CONFIDENCE and ASSURANCE to go through, rejoicing in suffering for Christ.

Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Life is sometimes like a rollercoaster, full of ups and downs. Nonetheless, we have the assurance and confidence by the Power of God’s Word, that when the trials of life come, we do not waver. Instead, the trials come only to strengthen our belief in God. God makes us and molds us into who He has called us to be. The Word of God reassures us that difficulties are not in vain but serve a purpose in our faith journey. We learn perseverance and resilience, which are vital to living a life by faith. Let’s stand together and embrace the trials as opportunities to grow closer to God, knowing that He uses our struggles for our transformation and His glory.

Prayer

Father, may we be as Paul in Romans 5:3-5. He declared, not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And, hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us. Help us recognize that suffering in Christ produces spiritual growth. Father, thank you for Your refining fire that shapes us into who You created us to be. Help us to recognize that through suffering, we develop perseverance. Father, help us to endure as good soldiers, trusting Your timing, and leaning on Your strength. We declare that we will not dare to lean on our own understanding, but in all our ways, we will acknowledge YOUR SPIRIT to direct our path. Father, help us to recognize that You are building character in us; deep, unshakable character that reflects Your mighty love and grace. We can confidently place our trust in You, Father, knowing that You have a plan for each of us, and it is to prosper us and not to harm us, to give us hope and a future, in Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

Day 13 | Saturday

Living a life of Faith empowers us to walk FEARLESS in Christ.

2 Timothy 1:7 - For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Being fearless in Christ means walking courageous knowing that God backs us up, as we live by and in His Word. Our Father is Jehovah Roi; He is with us Always. He is always by our side. We are encouraged not to fear because God’s very presence is comfort and strength. Walking in courage is an important part of our faith. Let’s pray today and declare that fear is not a stumbling block in our walk of faith, causing us to hesitate and doubt God’s goodness and power. Remember Fear Paralyzes Faith, BUT FAITH SABOTAGES FEAR!

Prayer

Father, we declare Your Word. You have not given us the spirit of fear, but of Power, Love, and a Sound mind. We declare by the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus conquered fear on the cross; therefore, fear cannot hold us hostage from walking in faith! We embrace a life full of Faith because we want to please You. Father we stand FEARLESS on Your Word, by the power of Your Holy Ghost knowing that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US SHALL PROSPER, and every tongue that rises against us in judgement is condemned; this is our heritage as servants of You Lord. We declare and decree, FEAR you are BOUND, in Jesus’ name! We declare that we are empowered by faith to live FEARLESS lives in Christ! By faith we will do that which has never been done before! By faith we will see that which has never been seen before! You get the Glory, Lord, It’s all BY YOUR SPIRIT! Father, let Your glory be shown in our Faith! Let FAITH ARISE and our enemies be scattered, in Jesus’ name, amen!

Day 14 | Sunday

By faith, we respond and declare the Redemptive Power of the Blood of Jesus over every area of OUR LIVES.

Ephesians 1:7 (NLT) - He is so rich in kindness and grace that He purchased our freedom with the blood of His Son and forgave our sins.

Galatians 2:20 (ESV) - I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

The Power of Sin is Destroyed! Sin can no longer hold us back! We are crucified with Christ. Today, by faith we identify with Christ’s Death, Burial, and Resurrection, knowing the FULLNESS of who He is in us! WE must DIE to LIVE! Living by faith means placing all our confidence in what God has said in His Word, no matter what we see, what we hear, or how we feel. It’s what God said…that’s what we believe!

Prayer

Father God, it is our earnest desire to walk in the complete redemptive power of the blood of Jesus over our mind, body, and spirit. We know that You have already forgiven us. Jesus bore all our sins, transgressions, and iniquities on the cross; and not only ours, but that of our forefathers. For that, Father, we thank You. Your Word declares in Gal. 3:13 that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us; for it is written, cursed is every one that hangs on a tree. Father, we declare that our hearts and our minds are healed, cleansed, and restored back to You wholly. WE ARE THE REDEEMED! We completely embrace the power of Your grace, Your forgiveness, and Your redemption for us. We trust Your Word. By faith we declare that Holy is who we are because we were made in Your image. We DIE, that WE may LIVE BY FAITH in Christ Jesus, in Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
